Stronger Families, Stronger Communities
The Department for Communities and Social Inclusion’s Stronger Families, Stronger Communities Grants make one-off funding available to eligible community organisations to develop projects that address priority needs and issues and improve outcomes for culturally diverse communities.
Grants are available for projects or initiatives that are aimed at building capacity, knowledge and skills within the community, but that do not create an ongoing need for funding.
The priorities for Stronger Families, Stronger Communities Grants 2017-18 to 2018-19 are to fund initiatives that help strengthen families and support social cohesion and a shift towards intercultural thinking. Please read the funding guidelines for more information about these priorities and examples of projects.
Grants of up to $200,000 are available for projects that commence on 1 July 2017 and conclude by 30 June 2019.
Applications are now open and close 5pm, Friday 17 February 2017.
